Lament about how Never Again is Now

This is my latest track (lyrics below) - not yet on all platforms (they shadow ban this stuff so why bother really). It is about living in the world post lockdown, with feelings of uncertainty, frustration and a little sadness and it’s about how most people were too busy and too afraid to realise they were defying a lot of ethics forged in the fires of Liberal Democracies -over centuries really - during the scamdemic. It’s hip hop, so if it ain’t for you the lyrics are here for you to convert to an acoustic version or use as needs - credit appreciated if that’s the case.

It is inspired by Milton Mayer’s book They Thought They Were Free: The Germans 1933-45, which shows how human beings in any society succumb to a totalitarianism, if they are insecure, frustrated, lonely and want to trust to be taken care of by outside forces.

People who could see that an Infection Fatality Rate of at most .2% (and in the case of anyone under 20 approximating 0%) was not frightening and consistent with seasonal influenza death rates were continually dumbfounded by the whole of society going full dark mode - like rocking from side to side in a ball. I was one of those people and to this day the lack of discussion around what we went through is terrifying. Here is the song….
